Per our January meeting, we are going to operate the programming from within our members’ resources and contacts. This will be done by organizing a volunteer committee of 2 – 4 people per quarter. Please “comment” on this post below to indicate your willingness to participate in the first quarter committee. Please keep in mind you the 1st quarter only includes February & March and the next meeting is scheduled for February 9th. You will be contacted shortly thereafter. Thank you for your support!

“Listen up!”

Join us in April for a discussion on Audio for event video. David McKnight will be your host and will walk through topics such as:

1. How to obtain quality audio at an event

2. Different types of microphones for event video

3. Discuss a selection of digital audio recording devices

4. Interfacing with church, DJ, and band mixers

5. Developing backup plans

6. How to process the audio in the editing suite for normalization, noise reduction, compression, and equalization

7. Mixing music, natural audio, and voiceover during an edit I will show and talk about the specific pieces of equipment that we use at McKnight Video Services, but we also want to know what you use. Please bring with you any mics, recorders, and other audio gadgets and hookups that you want to talk about.
